Suffering from bell's palsy is there anything that might help?

hi there i have just found out that a have a condition called bell's palsy( one side of my face is paralyzed) i just wanted to now if anyone else has suffered form this how long it took to get back to normal and what helped with the pain and the processes of recovery.
