Is being anti gay marriage a Conservative viewpoint?

It seems more communist to me. You want to tell people what they can and can't do based simply on the fact that you don't agree with what they're doing/ believe god doesn't agree with what they're doing? If you ask me, as a conservative its my understanding that we are supposed to be for less governmental control, so why the odd stance on gay marriage, not everyone believes the way you do, and the constitution allows them to believe differently. Do you demand that only you have the right to worship the way you want to worship? I think you should stop playing games and either call yourself a fascist or a conservative, but do you really think you can be both?
