Can bell's palsy affect other nerves?

my mom who is too stubborn to see a doctor has been complaining about leg cramps and for the last 6 years ive heard about them, she had bell's palsy after whiplash from a car wreck several years ago and one doctor a while ago said anemia cause it but iron didnt help the cramps but fixed the anemia. could bells palsy cause this?
