Does alcohol affect bells palsy?

I was diagnosed with bells palsy about a month ago, and I would say i'm about 85% better. I'm in college and I was wondering if it would cause harm to my full recovery if I partied with my friends about once a week. Also, if taking B vitamins daily will prevent the damage from alcohol, if any. Thanks so much guys!
