To those against gay marriage, do you eat shellfish?

While I'm not against gay marriage legally, you can't really use this as an example to disprove biblical reprehension for it, we shouldn't eat shellfish, there are some nasty things in them, they are bottom feeders. The ancient israelites wouldn't have known that, most of their dietary restrictions are born of similar causes. If you had read the new testament, Jesus makes these foods available for Christians to eat.
