Is there such a thing as a freelance entry-level job?

I was wondering if there was such a thing like freelance training to work at home I have cerebral palsy and I'm in a wheelchair and I do plan on going back to school for editing but I was wondering if it would be possible for me to work at home for a freelance company or something. I've never worked before and I have to have physical and occupational therapy at home during the week so I would like to do something from home. And if anyone has suggestions for me because I have never worked before that would be great. I live in New York. State Thank you
