Have question need help- life science class?

Have to choose a chromosomal disorder. I was wondering if cerebral palsy (spastic hemiplagia) can be this type of disorder? Because i know someone that was born 2 months premmature and diagnosed with this. The doctor told friend that prolonged use of respirator is what caused a blood clot in brain, so that could cause his cerebral palsy. However I am wondering if this type of cerebral palsy could be in general chromosomal in nature?
